Wanderluxe was born out of my belief that life’s too short for cheap wine and the room without the view. A lifelong backpacker, I’ve stayed in my fair share of budget hostels – but it’s always the hostel right on the beach with the amazing roof terrace.
Once, while counting centavos in a hostel in Bolivia to try to buy a snack, a wise Israeli tourist told me: “one day you’ll have money and you won’t have time. Just buy the snack”. And that’s the philosophy that inspired Wanderluxe – an online travel community that seeks to find and share places that offer a unique experience to guests. We believe that luxury isn’t exclusively reserved for those with a lot of money, and that sometimes it’s worth throwing caution to the wind and buying the snack.
Life’s short – upgrade to the sea view!
